There
are certain project functions which are typically maintained
outside of Convero. AMEC recommends the use of specialized
third party software for CPM scheduling and resource levelling.
Primavera Project Planner is the most commonly used integrated
package. In addition, there are interfaces for other CPM packages.
Within Convero's
management database, schedule control is maintained by the use
of milestones at the detailed levels, such as Procurement Schedules,
Document Production Schedule, Expediting Schedules. Convero
can also link milestone sets in chains to allow schedule data
from design to flow through procurement and into construction
planning. |
